I have two desktops and a notebook computer. Do I need to buy three licenses?
No, Visual NHibernate is licensed per user not per machine, so you only need a single license to use it on your desktop, your notebook and your home computer.
How many licenses do we need if we install Visual NHibernate one one computer and three developers use it on that computer?
You'll need three licenses - one for each user.
Can we install Visual NHibernate on a virtual machine?
Yes, you can install Visual NHibernate on a virtual machine. You still require a separate license for every person that will be using it.
I use Visual NHibernate in my day job because the company I work for purchased a Corporate license for me. Can I use Visual NHibernate at home?
Yes, you can use Visual NHibernate at home for personal work, non-profit organizations or open-source projects, as long as you are covered by a Corporate license. However if you are doing paid work for another organization you will need either a Personal license for yourself, or the other company will need to buy a Corporate license for you. Note that the Personal license is ideal for freelancers or contractors who do paid work for multiple clients.
I'm doing work for a non-profit organization or an open-source project. Do I need a license?
